Maria's

Marienbad

The town spreads from the central park with the main colonnade through the valley and annularly rises upwards on the wooded hillsides. It experienced its biggest fame during the Golden age of spas at the turn of the 19th and 20th century and in this state of beauty it has remained preserved until today. A well thought through urban concept of the whole town as well as individual opulent buildings and villas still stand until today in a nearly unchanged appearance and they provide a spectacle for guests, which can be found elsewhere only with difficulty. Nature enchants visitors not only with its healing power but also with its beauty. Every tourist can find something interesting here: deep forests and wetlands with abundant fauna and flora, dramatic hills as well as poetic parks around spa palaces/buildings and also the oldest golf course in the country.
